Google launched Street View on Google Maps 15 years ago with the goal of creating a 360-degree map of the world. Today, the service covers more than 100 countries, and in Croatia it has been available since 2011. Most of us use Street View to get a first visual impression of a place before visiting it.
Google continues to develop the service and update existing imagery, which is a massive task considering there are more than 200 billion panoramas worldwide. In addition to street-level views, there is growing interest in more immersive experiences.
